The following communication protocols apply to all USNF members and regional federations training abroad or inviting others from abroad to events held within the USNF.
- International Training
USNF members training abroad should inform the USNF Office via email to usnfes@gmail.com with their training plans. Please include dates of training, dojo locations, and instructor names where applicable.
If the member has arranged their own practice, notification should be sent prior to the member’s travel.
If the member is requesting assistance in arranging practice(s) abroad, communication should be sent with at least 30 days’ notice.
- International Participation in USNF Regional Events
Regional federations should inform the USNF Office via email to usnfes@gmail.com when inviting international participants, instructors, and/or examiners to regional events. Please include dates and location of event, as well as international participants’ roles. Communication should be sent with at least 30 days’ notice and should be sent prior to requests to send the yoko to the full membership.
Please refer to the USNF Ranking Regulations, Section I, Article 5 regarding requests for exceptions for examiners. Requests for exceptions apply to all non-USNF examiners. Communication should be sent with at least 30 days’ notice.
